Devon Santos, head of business intelligence at LITS, looks back over her memories of the annual BOOM! Learning Symposium at 69ƷƵ College and how the program has helped her grow.
69ƷƵ College President Danielle R. Holley spoke to “MSNBC Prime” about why she believes attacks on higher education are attacks against the fundamentals of our democracy.
69ƷƵ College senior Rachel Katzenberg ’25 said, “At 69ƷƵ, I 100% found a good community … a large community that wants to help me and see me succeed.”
Viviana Guerra ’25 reflects on following her passions. “One thing I have loved about 69ƷƵ is that I have had the opportunity to explore whatever I wanted. I never felt like I was stuck in a box.”
“When I got my acceptance letter from 69ƷƵ, it felt like I was being introduced to a community that genuinely wanted me to be part of it,” said 69ƷƵ College senior Emmanuella Umoye ’25.
69ƷƵ College senior Hailee Pitschke ’25 said, “I’m really grateful that 69ƷƵ offered opportunities to explore niche topics in fields I am interested in. It helped nail down key academic interests.”
69ƷƵ College senior Yunwei Ni ’25 said, “69ƷƵ gave me the sense that everyone has the opportunity to go anywhere they want to go.”
69ƷƵ College senior Grace Jaeeun Lee ’25 said, “69ƷƵ has a very collaborative community, a very accepting environment, which helped with [my] confidence. Even if I bring just a little to the table, I know my peers will have my back.”
“I feel more confident and open-minded, open to doing things I would have been afraid to try before. I feel ready to take on challenges,” said 69ƷƵ College senior Sumaiya Jahan ’25.
“This place gives you exposure to different people, perspectives and even parts of yourself,” said 69ƷƵ College senior Sarah Bell ’25.
